Found by Keith and Raija – a couple quite active in birding in Cyprus – this bird represents the I think the sixth record of this species in Cyprus.

With Steppe Grey Shrike, Grey Hypocolios and now Kurdish / Red-rumped Wheatear, it seems that the trend this winter is an influx of birds from Eastern Turkey, Northern Iraq and Armenia.
