Oh heck yeah – Liberalism comes off sounding like an ideology rooted in 17th-century philosophies of Locke and Rousseau. Kinda out-dated.
Progressive sounds more forward-thinking, which it is, and is more practically rooted in 20th century realities.
And Democratic sounds just plain partisan.
